Pet Projects

Losing track of a pet is one of any pet owner’s worst nightmares. Having a flyer ready to go in the event that a pet runs away or gets lost allows pet owners to act quickly in those crucial first hours.

I designed this flyer to address critical information needed by the public when on the lookout for a lost pet. The red blocks across the top and bottom draw attention from passersby, alerting them to the key issue and where information can be sent. The interior section of the flyer features a large, clear photo of the missing dog, along with a text box containing additional information about the dog’s appearance and space for details about where and when the dog was lost.

Case Study:

Pipoca is a friendly lab-mix with a reputation for being an escape-artist. One evening while on a camping trip, Pipoca ran away from his owner and did not respond to calls. Out-of-state and with limited cell reception, recovering Pipoca safely was a daunting task.

Luckily, the owner had a copy of the flyer I had made saved on his phone. Pipoca’s owner was quickly able to update the flyer and post it to local message boards and social media sites. He was able to get a handful of color copies printed, posting them at a handful of local businesses and key locations along the trail where Pipoca went missing. Thanks to the quick and comprehensive response, Pipoca was safely recovered in less than 24 hours.
