Self-Mailer Booklet

The aim of this project was to increase direct mail response for Investing Daily’s publication Utility Forecaster.

With it’s glossy, full-color cover and compact size, this piece was designed to stand out in a stack of mail, thus increasing engagement and response. Featuring the same copy as the existing standard sales letter for Utility Forecaster, this self-mailer was run as a test against the existing package, which was mailed in an envelope.

The existing copy had to be redesigned and organized from an 8 ½ x 11 page size to 5 ¼ x 8 ½ without sacrificing legibility or flow. Reducing the order form to half of it’s previous size was particularly challenging. This was achieved by moving the bonus report imagery onto the facing page, and utilizing full-color to increase the impact of the form page itself.
